Contact us
The directory is only as good as the reports we get from the students using it. If something on this site is wrong, out of date or simply does not work, please tell us, corrections are usually made within a few working days.
When to get in touch
A broken application link
If an 'Apply' button takes you to an error page, a homepage instead of the application form, or somewhere unexpected, tell us which bursary it was and we will trace the funder's current page.
An expired or closed bursary
Funders sometimes close early or quietly withdraw a programme. If you find a listing that is no longer accepting applications, let us know so it can be archived.
A correction
Wrong closing date, wrong field of study, changed eligibility criteria or an outdated funding amount, send the detail and, if you have it, the link to the funder's page showing the correct information.
Listing a bursary or a partnership
Companies, foundations, SETAs, universities and TVET colleges are welcome to submit an opportunity. Include the official application link, closing date, eligibility criteria and a contact person.
What we cannot help with
We are an independent directory, not a funder. We cannot submit an application for you, check the status of an application, influence a funder's decision, or appeal an NSFAS outcome on your behalf. For those, contact the funder or institution directly using the details on their official page. We never ask for ID numbers, banking details or payment.
Who you are writing to, and what happens next
Messages go to the small South African editorial team that writes and checks the listings, not to a call centre or a funder. We read everything, though we cannot always reply individually. Reports about a broken link, a closed programme or a wrong closing date are treated as urgent: we open the funder's official page, confirm what it currently says, and then correct, relabel or archive the listing. Corrections are usually made within a few working days, and a listing whose application link stops working is taken out of search results until we can confirm a working official page.
The site is run remotely from South Africa and works on South African hours, so a message sent over a weekend or a public holiday is picked up on the next working day. Email is the only channel we use, we will never phone you asking for money, ID numbers or banking details, and we never charge for a correction or a listing.
Answers you may not need to wait for
A lot of the questions we receive are already answered in writing. If you are asking whether you can apply without final matric results, whether average marks disqualify you, whether two bursaries can be held at once, or what a work-back agreement commits you to, the FAQ covers it. If you are at the start of the process, the bursary guide runs through the whole cycle, and if someone has contacted you with an offer that feels wrong, check it against the scam warning signs before replying to them.
Send a message
Please include the name of the bursary and, where relevant, a link to the page you are writing about.
